저는 현재 캘리포니아 대학교 샌프란시스코(University of California, San Francisco)에서 화학 및 화학 생물학을 전공하는 박사과정 학생입니다. 그전에 서울대학교에서 의약화학 석사, 약학박사 학위를 취득했습니다.

제 현재 연구 관심사는 효과적인 약물이 개발되지는 않았지만 생물학적으로 중요한 표적을 연구하여, 삶을 개선할 수 있는 새로운 약물을 개발하는 것입니다.  

이 웹사이트는 자유롭게 저의 생각과 지식, 그리고 미국에서 박사과정 학생으로서의 일상을 가족, 친구, 그리고 제 여정에 관심 있는 분들과 공유하기 위해 만들었습니다.

Hello!

I’m a PhD student in the Chemistry & Chemical Biology Graduate Program at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). Before that, I earned an M.S. in Medicinal Chemistry and a PharmD at Seoul National University. 

My research focuses on biologically important targets that currently lack effective therapies, with the goal of discovering new medicines that improve people’s lives.

I created this site to share my ideas, what I’m learning, and snapshots of daily life as a PhD student in the U.S.—for my family, friends, and anyone interested in my journey.
